Origin Service Includes : packing, crating, export documents processing, customs clearing & transportation to container wharf.

4,000 ~ 4,999 lbs , US$ 16.00 per 100 lbs net weight
5,000 lbs & above , US$ 14.00 per 100 lbs net weight

Destination Service Excludes: port & shipping line demurrage charges, customs duties & taxes, if any.

3. Storage Charges

Per month or part there of - US$ 4.00 / 100 lbs net
In / Out handling ( one time ) - US$ 3.50 / 100 lbs net

CUSTOMS REGULATIONS

1. All shipment will be inspected by the customs. Packing list must have proper description of all contents. Confiscation of goods or heavy fines can result from false declaration.
2. Import tax are imposed on all electrical appliances and consumable items.
3. All items originally imported must be shown as exported at time of exporting household goods. Any items imported and which are not re-exported are subject to duties.
4. Used personal effects, ( such as clothes, books, sundries ) for his own or professional use, in reasonable quantity, are exempted from import duties.
5. Books / publications are examined by customs. Subversive publication will be confiscated.
6. Video tapes will be screened by the censor board. All fees are for the shipper's account. Unacceptable tapes may be confiscated.
7. Liquor, wine, cigar and cigarettes are subject to tax .
8. Customs clearing will take at least 3 working days for airfreight shipment and 5 to 7 working days for sea freight shipment.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1. Shipper are advise to declare on customs declaration form , on arrival at Yangon int'l airport , that his / her household goods and personal effects shipment will follow soon by air or sea . One form to be kept with the shipper and hand over to us on arrival of the shipment. This form will be used to expedite customs clearing process.
2. Diplomatic and U.N organization shipments required original bill of lading to apply exemption letter from ministry of foreign affairs ( M.O.F.A ) and foreign economic relations department (F.E.R.D) respectively . Therefore for any inbound shipment that transit in Singapore are also required to get the second carrier's original bill of lading.
3. For non-dip shipment after transit in Singapore , that arrives Yangon without original OB/L need telex release order from second carrier shipping line and which is to be sent directly to shipping agency department ( S.A.D ).

PROHIBITED ARTICLES

Ammunition, firearms, pornographic literature, narcotics, radio transmitters, telephones & fax machines. For automobiles and motorcycles shipper must obtain " Import Permit " from the ministry of commerce before shipping from origin.
